WARNING: THERE BE SPOILERS HERE.
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: Constantine is my FAVOURITE MOVIE EVERRRRRR. When Rebecca said she’d love to watch it again, I was over the moon. Keanu Reeves and Rachel Weisz star in the 2005 film about a man heaven-bent (lol) on essentially buying a ticket upstairs by exorcising demons and the like. In this episode, we talk about the gorgeous cinematography and great use of dialogue, as well as the fact that this film succeeds because it doesn’t dumb anything down for its audience and treats them like they’re at least moderately intelligent enough to not need thousands of lines of exposition.
